Whats up ya’ll, its been a minute or should I say a month since the NFL just started lol in week 4 (wk4). The Bengals started off nice with Tee having a nice catch and Jamar finishing it off with some nice catch and runs. We only won by an indecisive 1 point but a win is a win making us 1-0.
We then played the Jacksonville Jaguars in wk2 where disaster struck. Joe Burrow gets hurt and now apparently needs surgery done because he was diagnosed with Turf Toe and will be out for approximately 3 months (mo). So that puts us at a huge disadvantage now because we are now relying on our back-up QB and although we have faith in Jake Browning, there is only so much that he can do. I do feel like he is one of the best back-up QBs in the league tho, he definitely plays like a starter. He was able to carry the team on his shoulders and giving us a victory. Unfortunately there is only 1 player on the field that can play QB and our guy is Joe Burrow, I call him Joe Brrrr because of how cold he is obviously when healthy but now I wanna call him Joe Hrrrt because he is hurt and injured. This is really frustrating and disappointing but I hope that he gets well soon and is still able to come back this season well before the playoffs. We were 2-0 but then that is when we starting to tank like the titanic.
In wk3 we played the Vikings and man, we got an ass whopping, it was almost like the Bengals were a no-call no-show. It hurt extra because we suffered our first lost making us 2-1 in a horrible fashion. My boy Justin Jefferson was out there eatin and flyin too. I guess you can still fly if your fat lol.
In wk4, we played the Broncos and it was a reflection of the Vikings game. We were horrible. we lost 3-28 and fell to 2-2.
We now play the Detroit Lions in wk5 and to be honest, it might seem like we will be eaten alive because the Lions beat the Ravens even tho they have their issues and which will be another topic for another day but they are lookin real hot and real hungry and comin with that fire but that is not to say that we will just take the loss. We still gotta play and see what happens but yeah it just has not been looking too good for us.
